The Analysis Of The Constitutional Foundations Of The Policy Making SystemWhat would be of us without our U.S. Constitution, Preamble, Articles of Confederation andour Amendments, we would be living like the past centuries with discrimination, slaves, without women rights, not knowing how to rule a country because we wouldn’t have something to go based on ,but thankfully we don’t have to worry about this thanks to The Founding Fathers.The Articles of Confederation is the first written Constitution of the United States. The reason they created the Articles its because they wanted a nation more powerful and dependent to defeat Great Britain, they took a while to came up with the Articles because of fear that they would steal land and they wouldn’t be able to have authority to the land. Under these Articles, the states are independent, with Congress remaining as their last resort on appeal of disputes. The Preamble is a brief statement of the Constitution’s fundamental purposes and guidance, this also proved that the Founding Father actually got together to explain the meaning of the Constitution and what they would hope to accomplish. “We the people of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”The Preamble serves solely as an introduction, and does not assign powers to the Federal Government ,nor it gives limitation on Government actions. The Amendments are changes that are made to the U.S. Constitution in order to adapt a regulation or expand on rights of individuals and groups. The Founding
