Before the Justice League, Batman was a one-man war on crime in the heinous brimming Gotham City. He struck fear in the hearts of criminals with brutal tactics and intimidation. The man brooding under the mask wasn't some supernatural creature but, billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne. Orphaned at a young age and obsessed with preventing a tragedy like this from ever happening to somebody else, Bruce hardened his body and mind into a weapon against injustice. Highly trained in the martial arts, stealth, strategy, and detective work, Batman is one of the most formidable forces in the DC universe. Batman is always ready to go toe to toe with evil no matter how impossible the odds may seem. His dedication to justice makes him a leader and a hero. It's Batman's immense traits that help him eventually unite the Justice Team. Even though Batman has no real superpowers unlike his comrades, it would be hard to imagine a Justice League without him. It's Batman's official image that separates him from every other superhero in the comic book world. Every Batman story begins the same.
