As the main function of this project, development of a new system has been recognized that that will focus on innovation within the workplace. The system is online feedback survey for the employees of the bank. Context of this new system: (Refer pages: 19 to 39)
Objectives of new system: Majority of the organizations consider the customer feedback only while introducing any service or improvising it due to the trend of customer driven market (Volberda et al. 2016). However, the employees are the first to make contacts with the customers; therefore, there opinion is equally valuable in this case. Other than that, there are many employee issues that get unheard by the authorities due to the lack of proper and effective system that could convey the message of the employees to the authorities. This new system would help the organization to Fetch the opinions and suggestions about the organizational activities. Obtain unbiased opinion from the employees as the system considers anonymity. To gain an idea on what are the main players that influence the performance of the employees. Acknowledge most difficult situation that the employees come across while deal with the consumers. Analyses of current organisational systems: The current organisational system considers customer feedback on high priority while employee feedbacks are taken account occasionally. The system with employee feedback merely depends on the individual complaints or reporting any incident to the human resource department. In this course the actions taken against the complaints are not also regular. Employees are the assets of the organisation and to keep the asset valued forever the authorities are required to make them the part of the organization rather treating them as machines to follow the rules and complete the actions (Spieth, Schneckenberg and Ricart2014). Gaps or barriers identified After analysing the current approach of the organisation following gaps have been found:
-The manager is too reluctant to focus on the employee issues. Moreover, the manager is also highly ignorant and irresponsive when it comes to generating new ideas and implementing them into system. -The organisation tends and prefers to follow the rules and regulations that have been set at the time of establishment. With passing years, the requirement to go with innovative and feasible options have been ignored. Resistance to the changes or creativity is one of the main issues with this organisation.
