Running head: Organizational Change 2 Organization change is “a field of management theory that focuses on the stages that companies go through as they evolve (Gartenstein, 2018).” When a company makes the decision to implement organizational change, they are indicating that they are ready to make the effort that is needed to increase the business capabilities. Every change that is made within a company needs to be done for the right reasons and it should increase the optimization of the organization. It is not possible to not have change in an organization. Change is about survival, change is especially necessary in organizations that wish to prosper in a volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous environment. (Machiavelli, n.d.). If a company expects to grow, it must adapt and accept changes. An organization that does not choose to change then is most likely going to fail.
