Corey Hillebo Econ 331 Spring, 2007 Business Concept #1 Custom Buffer Strips and Food Plots 1. Describe the product or service you will provide. Food plots are areas of land set aside for the benefit of wildlife such as deer, wild turkey, pheasants, quail, and more. Buffer strips are strips of tall grass and/or strips of trees to help provide natural habitat cover for wildlife and prevent erosion and runoff into rivers and streams. I could provide a service to farmers and landowners of planning, planting, and caring for the buffer strips and food plots for the customer. This would take a great knowledge of agronomy for success. 2. Who is the customer or market segment served by your business? My customers would be any landowner that wants to either improve their wildlife habitat and health on their farms or help prevent runoff while receiving government incentives. 3. How does the customer or consumer gain from your product or service? What is the value proposition for the consumer?

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
