Develop a project scope Appendix 2: Project Scope template Introduction Native Bush Spices Australia, based in Coffs Harbour, NSW, was established in 2010 to cater for a demand for Australian native food products. The company has organic certification and manufactures and retails a range of organic Australian native foods including native herbs and spices, native herbal teas and native fruit jams and conserves. Currently the business is selling its products through several small supermarkets and health stores throughout Australia. The company aims to have a website through which products can be ordered. The new website is seen as a critical part of the company’s expansion strategy. Scope Justification: Native Bush Spices Australia wants to simplify and streamline its permit application & fulfillment procedure. To this end, we plan to develop a website that will allow our customers to buy our products online. Description: The website will have the following features – it will be accessible from any browser, secure and user friendly (in terms of ease of use). Application forms for all current permits will be made available. Users will be able to request & receive approval, make payment & arrange for receipt of documentation (the permit). Deliverables: functional website allowing users access at their convenience (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) user documentation & help feature staff training, support & maintenance documentation Constraints: Project to be completed within budget Staff turnover Assumptions: Legal issues regarding signature authentication will be overcome prior to project start.
