Pick three or four deployment tips/techniques identified in Scott Ambler’s article above that you think are most important. Use examples to explain why those tips/techniques are important. #2 – Identify your deployment strategy early + #5 – Start planning early I think these two work together. Essentially, early planning is better planning. Deployment is often overlooked and a poor deployment strategy could lead to a poor implementation that could create greater clean-up costs down the road to fix the issues and could result in negative reviews (products) or loss of subscribers (services). On an internal project, a poor deployment could result in a loss of productivity for the company, especially if the system was a vital component to the company’s operations. #11 - Update your deployment plan regularly This seems like a simple thing, but it is often overlooked as well. Oftentimes, a deployment strategy is crafted, and then posted in a folder, awaiting the deployment time. Early planning is good, but revisiting that deployment plan on a regular basis is very important.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
