Executive SummaryWal-Mart Inc. is an American multinational retail corporation that offer goods in a variety of categories at an affordable price while being a social organization. Wal-Mart spends millions of dollar in making an effort to improve their social impact to the people and environment while improve their profit. This report will describe Wal-Mart as being a social enterprise.This analysis will be completed through describing Wal-Mart action plan on being a social enterprise by doing research and completing Wal-Mart have being good in the company DNA, how the company serve for the good through their product and services, financial performance and my final thoughts on the organisation. Social enterprises are revenue-generating businesses with a twist. They have two goals which is to achieve social, cultural, community economic and/or environmental outcomes and to earn revenue, which means that companies that do good for the people and community is more likely to generate more revenue. For Wal-Mart, commitmentto corporate social responsibility could become a key driver for the company's success, it is not only the responsible thing to do, and italso maximizes business value.Wal-Mart Primary Purpose With Wal-Mart’s slogan “Save money, Live Better” one can immediately think of Wal-Mart as being a social enterprise. According to Wal-Mart website “with working with others, we aspire toreshape the way we work to achieve significant and lasting improvement in environmental and
