Meteorology is the study of the earth’s atmosphere and is a component of system science.
Meteorology is difficult to answer specifically because it includes the temperature, the wind, and
precipitation in which is observed and causes impact. Climatology is an atmospheric science that
is concerned with both the description of climates and the analysis of the climatic differences.
Climatology treats the same atmospheric processes as meteorology but it seeks to identify slower
acting influences. Meteorology and Climatology are two terms that seem to have the same
meaning but there is a difference between the two terms. Meteorology is the study of the
processes and phenomena of the atmosphere and means forecasting the weather. Climatology
deals with the scientific study of the climate. Sometimes Meteorology refers to atmospheric
