ESSAY 1Explain what affect an increase in airspeed has on lift, as well as on drag, both induced andparasite. Include in your answer the “why” for your answer. Consideration should be given to thelift and drag equation, Bernoulli, Newton, The Continuity Equation, and any other conceptdiscussed in the text.Increase in airspeed will increase lift. Newtons’ third law states that every action has equal andopposite reaction, the propeller pushes air backwards and the airplane moves forward, as theairplane moves forward, the wing passes through the air. According to the Bernoulli’s principlethe wing acts as venturi with air passing through, the curved surface of the wing causes thepressure difference exerted in the surface of the wing. As the speed increases the pressure exertedon top of he wing decreases, while the pressure under the wing remains more. The air rushedfrom high pressure to low i.e. lower surface to upper surface, pushing the wing up, thus creatinglift. As this speed keeps on increasing the pressure difference also increases, pushing more air
