How is it similar to and different from other types of workplace diversity discussed in this chapter? A: I do not consider being an unauthorized immigrant a form of workplace diversity. Workplace diversity has nothing to do with someone’s status of being an illegal immigrant or not. Workplace diversity includes things such as race, sexual orientation, and gender just to name a few. In my opinion there is no similarity between the two types of workplace diversity because whether they are legal or illegal immigrant that has nothing to do with their work ethic.
