Use the terms “Maternal” (meaning useful mostly on the dam side of a crossbreeding program), “Paternal” ( meaning more usually used on the sire side of a crossing scheme), or maybe dual purpose. Origins: Meaning country, and note if produced from the crosses of other existing breeds.
