When I was growing up I often looked up to my grandma. My mom wasn’t around a lot so I spent a ton of time with my grandma. She was always so cheerful, positive, and energetic. She always made sure that there was good home cooked meals for anyone who was in her home and even when she was at our house. I have tried to implement a lot of what I have learned from her into my life. When I am having a bad day, I remember that it could always be worse and that I should find the positive in the negative. I have made sure that I cook for my kids and try new recipes so that they learn it’s good to sit as a family and eat dinner, no matter what time it is. I lost my grandma 5 years ago and it has been hard without her, but I know that she is watching over me and I think about her daily and remind myself to keep looking forward. When I am reading an email or talking to someone on the phone at work, I can see a noticeable difference in people who aren’t as professional as others.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
