The light rays are directed towards your cornea and the cornea focuses the boat and the elements around it. The iris then controls the amount of light exposed to the pupil and the the pupil will either contract or expand depending on the reflection of the sun to the boat. The lens then determines the dimensions of the boat, whether it is close or far. The lens focuses the light from the boat onto the retina which then creates electrical impulses that passes through the optic nerve. At this point the image is upside down. The light passes through the ganglion, amacrine,bipolar and horizontal cells and process the information received from the lens and travels to the cone and rods. The information repeats the cell cycle to form a picture that is
