During the previous meeting with the senior management, board of directors as well as the management team of Wollongong store, we have discussed about the WHS plan and the implementation and monitoring of the plan. Today I would like to discuss these with you as well.Managers:Sounds great, what's are the things we need to know about WHS plan?General Manager: As we all knowPitstop has just gone through a tremendous transformation, from a single hands-on operation to a multi-store enterprise with plans to triple in size in the next five years. And with that I was assigned asked to design and develop a WHS Management System (WHSMS) to manage WHS for Pitstop as one of my initial tasks. As part of WHSMS, I consulted with the senior management and board of directors to make WHS plan. This plan is about creating proper procedures, policies and standards to manage Pitstop workplace health and safety obligations in accordance with law and make Pitstop a workplace free from risks and hazards.Managers: Wonderful, what are these new policies, procedures and standards and how will the implementation be?General Manager: I have prepared a copy of the guidelines regarding the WHS plan including the new policies, procedures and standards for you to read and let me know what you think. Regarding the implementation, the WHS plan will be communicated to all employees in a form of company meeting where all the necessary information and new policies and procedures will be discussed. After that, the employees will be scheduled for the training for effective work activities, as well as health and safety. Asa manager, you are then responsible to monitor the employees performance and checkconstantly if they follow all the safety procedures and review the incident report and ensure that risks are treated properly as soon as they arise.Managers: Sound great, what will be the objectives, target and KPI for the WHS plan?General Manager: We will set objectives like minimizing injuries, reducing number of days of lost work, establishing risk management process and ensuring managers implementWHS policy and WHSMS. The target and KPI will vary depending on the objectives but generally we aim to set the target and KPI in manner that will reduce the risks andhazards at work.Managers: I see, and what sort of monitoring activities are we implementing as part of audit and reporting process?General Manager: The monitoring activities will include incident reports and investigations,workplace inspection checklists, audit reports, hazard reports, risk assessment reports,

training reports, skills and training matrices, consultation with employees, feedback from employees, budget tracking. These activities will be scheduled weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually according to their functions and how often do we need them.
