CULTURE AND POLICY DEVELOPMENT 2 Cultural diversity has always been an issue in the United States, the diversity of ethnicities and religions related to the history of our country, made this problem not only just an aspect of good business, but essential of the entire community. Thompson AG said: “Patients’ participation in decision making in health care and treatment is not a new area, but currently it has become a political necessity in many countries and health care systems around the world.” (Thompson AG, 2007). Today, it is important to say that the issue of cultural sensitivity or health policies is more than ever paramount for the community, especially with the growth of emerging viruses, and antibiotic resistance. Noting, for example, the presence of bacterial infections and viruses in the community, it is important to say that all the last ones are out of the incubation period. Knowing that these communities are new, it is important to find different awareness campaigns, because they may not respond positively to the previous campaigns.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
