LOWERING THE DRINKING AGE OF 21For many years people have tried to lower the drinking agecountry wide in the United States to 18. Their argument is if 18 years areallowed to join the military, vote and own weapons why cant they drinkalcohol. Serving in the military at 18 is not the same as drinking at 18,one isn’t allowed to even handle weapons without months of hardtraining and new rules that hold them accountable.“The statement says "21 is not working" and asks "How many timesmust we relearn the lessons of Prohibition?"
