CONFLICTING VIEWPOINTS ESSAY -PART I
Conflicting Viewpoints
As a good old country boy, I was raised with guns.
I was taught a very young age the
danger of them and the proper way to use a gun.
I do believe that I have the right to bear arms,
have guns in my home for sport, hunting, and collection.
Should everyone have the right to bear
arms, or are there certain reason why not everyone should have this right?
This is a question
that is asked all over America today should more gun control laws be enacted?
Does the Second
Amendment still stand today which states “A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the
security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.”
I
still believe this law stands firm.
This is a way I can protect my family, hunt for food, and is a
sport I enjoy as well.
After being in the military I enjoy shooting with my friends and my
sharing the respect you have for guns to my kids.
