MSN Program
Introduction

Expectations/General Information
•
We will be respectful of your time and ask that you do the same with your
assigned Mentors
•
We do our best to respond to emails and phone messages within four
business hours and resolve issues within 24 business hours
•
Always use your WGU email to communicate with your program mentor,
course instructors, and all other WGU Departments. Make sure your
signature is on it with the correct student ID number and mentor. You will
need your WGU email to access learning resources.
•
Many mentors do not work or check emails on weekends. WGU is closed
for 9 official Holidays. Academic Meetings are twice a year and mentor
availability is limited. During mentor vacations another mentor will be
available to help you.
•
If you cannot make a mentor appointment please let mentor know as soon
as possible– either reschedule via Book Time with Me or email and include
some times when you are available later in the week or next week; be
flexible with rescheduling.
•
It is never acceptable to look up a Mentors home phone number to call
them.
•
Task Stream Grading is done by a separate group of evaluators. It can take
on average 3-5 days for papers to be graded.
