Looking back on the case analysis, many valuable lessons were learned. Something our team excelled at was having upfront and honest communication, especially when it came to availability. If a team member was unable to attend a meeting the remaining team members were notified and work was contributed beforehand. Terri and Boris both had an instance in which they were unable to attend a team meeting. They informed the remaining team members well in advance and proactively submitted their work beforehand. This was helpful in leading our discussion and delegating any remaining tasks. Something I believe our team could have improved on was holding each other accountable. At our second team meeting I suggested that each team member present their ideas in complete sentences as opposed to bullet points. This was a lesson learned from our first assignment as Liza and I spent a significant amount of time reworking Boris’s bullet points into paragraphs. When this occurred again, rather than address it with Boris, Liza and I revised the bullet points so that the assignment could be submitted. Going forward, I think it will be important to address this kind of issue by providing open, honest feedback.
