CHAPTER 2:INTRODUCTION1Purpose of the plan:The purpose of this plan is to develop, implement and maintain an integrated emergency managementsystem for protection of people, property and the environment in the event of natural incident such asCyclone and Tsunami; and fires. The ultimate goal is to reduce the vulnerability of the area due to anyemergency, to save lives and protect property and environment by developing capabilities thatmitigate the effects of, prepare for, respond to and recover from any emergency that could affect thearea.1.Scope of the plan:The Plan covers the available emergency services and procedures of the guesthouse and the availablefacilities of the V.FULIDHOO Island in case of an emergency incident such as Tsunami, flood, heavywind, fire, or such incidents.2.Plan Update and Review-The plan will be updatedAnnually-MOOSA SILVEEN, General Manager of the guest house will be in charge of updating the plan.-Changes ofthe information of the plan/ changes be communicated with staffs through tanning andproviding copy.4.
