Experiment ReportName:Title: Conservation Laws. Hypothesis: Newton's Second Law states that a force is necessary to produce acceleration. The experiment with Newton's Cradle performed by dropping 1 to 4 balls on one side of Newtons Cradle and observing the reaction of different drops ( 1 ball, 2 balls, ....4 balls). I predict that whatever movement is performed at one side of the Newton's Cradle, will have the same and opposite reaction on the other side of the Cradle. When the experience change to the following, one ball has a mass of 4 kg on one side and all the rest of the balls are 2 kg, I predict the collision as the following. The initial collision set 4 kg ball comes in and two balls each 2kg swings out at the same speed with the return swing as two balls each of 2 kg goes in and 1 ball of 4 kg swings out at the same speed.
