Alyvia Powell Dear Barbarian Lover, The Huns, Goths, Vandals, and Franks were all barbarian groups. All of these barbarian groups were destructive and bad in their own way. The Huns were the most feared group. The Goths sacked Rome. The Vandals would spare most of the city inhabitants, but they still got a bad name, and the Franks were a very large tribe that controlled almost all of Europe. The Huns came from Central Asia and they were the most feared group of them all. They were led by Attila. Attila was a very evil leader he would kill families in front of each other, rape women, force families to eat their children and many other kinds of torture. The Huns had conquered most of Europe, but they fell apart when Attila died from choking on his own blood. The Goths were a germanic tribe that originated in southern Scandinavia. The whole tribe was split into 2 groups. The Visigoths, and the Ostrogoths. The Goths were the tribe that introduced calvary, fighting on horseback.
