Also, contrast how Moravian Indian conversion differed from earlier attempts to convert native populations and what did they offer them.Being expose to a new religion or belief system that’s vastly different from one’s tradition, upbringing, belief etc. in most case is met with fierce resistance. Especially with the earlier forceful attempts by the European to convert Native Indian population. Fast forward whereinitial attempts to establish a missionary, undertaken by Christian and Rahel Post in 1743 and Martin and Anna Mack in 1744 were difficult in that the nature of the place, a confluence of trade and cultures, meant that there was no stable population.Natives were drawn to the Moravians due to the way they were treated.
