November 1, 2018 From: Shelby Hall To: Dr. Bohler Subj: DAX 6 -- Determining whether training, and salary are adequate predictors for how often employees meet their quota 1. For this data analysis, the data set from DAX 6 in the programs SAS and Excel were both used to identify whether or not training, and salary can determine whether an employee is meeting their quota. An issue that arises with using these specific variables, is the productivity level the employees are maintaining. Hypothesis: Null hypothesis – HO: µTraining = µSalary Alternative hypothesis – HA: Not all means are equal. Rejection Criteria: α = 0.05 2. The source of this data was gathered from Excel first. The data was then uploaded in SAS and converted. After converting the excel file into SAS, the file was saved as DAX6 under data storage. In order to analyze the groups of information accurately there were numerous steps taken. Firstly, two separate One-Way ANOVA’s were ran. The first ANOVA was ran as follows: ANOVA under roles Dependent variable (training) Categorical variable (QuotaPlus) Ran the ANOVA The second ANOVA was ran as follows: ANOVA under roles Dependent variable (salary) Categorical variable (QuotaPlus) Ran the ANOVA

### What students are saying

• As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

• The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
