Compare and contrast methods to show ROI on training programs. “Training has become increasingly vital to the success of modern organizations” (p.232) – stated Bohlander and Snell (2004). In the other word, training and Development is the key to success of HR managers. Nowadays, for evaluating the result of training programs, instead of using utility – the benefits derived from training as a measurement tool for their effectiveness, HR managers often use the return on investment (ROI). Using the tool of ROI, HR managers view “training in terms of the extent to which it provides knowledge and skills that create a competitive advantage and a culture that is ready for continuous change” (p.266).
