I would influence innovation at my company by trying to incorporate all 6 parts of the innovation
engine. I would start by making sure that my employees are well versed in the specific area that
we’re trying to drive innovation in by supplying them with the right knowledge of the industry. I
would try and create an environment that feels limitless to my employees when it has to do with
imagination. I want my employee’s imagination to run wild and not be limited. Using the
knowledge that they have, I want them to share all ideas as all ideas are welcome. A team
attitude is a must and a judgement free zone is a must as I want all employees to feel like they
can share all and any ideas. As innovation is important and the key driver behind great ideas, the
company would need to have extensive resources available to facilitate innovation. I would make
sure to budget plenty of money to provide the essential resources. All these items I’ve discussed
are inter connected and one cannot function without the other. Culture is the last piece to
