Andreka Wood IHP 501 Project 1 Milestone 1 I. Introduction I have chosen to access Germany for this project. It has such a rich history, especially wars and I was wondering what it might have been like for citizens there. I do not have family members that were in World War II, but I did have a few co-workers whose relatives were. Their stories were very lively and has impacted me. An unspeakable event, the Holocaust is also a major time frame in Germany’s history and though it was very sad; learning about that event was fascinating. For this analysis I have done deeper research into population, type of government, geographical location, etc. to figure out the state of the healthcare system in Germany. Germany is slightly like the United States where they can elect their representatives. It has a constitutional, parliamentary democracy. Germany today is a thriving country that host millions of tourists. They have the best economics and has the highest population compared to its neighboring countries. Germany is in Europe but is situated between Netherlands and Poland and is among the largest countries in Europe. Berlin is the Capital of Germany and is very populated with an estimate of 3 million residents. This great city like any other has universities, wild life parks etc. (Spicer, 2016). The weather in Germany is that similar of the United States where the summer is warm and the winter is cold even though the winters are much milder than what we
experience in the United States (Columbus, 2017). Their government is not too far-
