PROBLEM DESCRIPTION The problem I am solving is due to pedestrian safety.   We will be building a pedestrian crossover bridge connecting the second story of WERC to the garage. METHODS Well to design the bridge, I found out how many lines and how many joints are required for a stable truss.

It is a symmetrical bridge. Refer to Figure 1 as that is the design of the bridge. CONCLUSIONS The bridge will be strong because it is stable and many triangles are used.
