1. Management – Engaging with customers through social media is very hard to manage. With millions of comments, questions, complaints, etc, it is near impossible to fulfill all customer needs. It takes lots of time to respond to just a handful of the customers through social media. Due to this, management may not be able to provide the answers or information customers are seeking, thus losing the ability to properly communicate and engage with customers. Organization - Social media has become a powerful tool to keep customers engaged. Companies are using ads that take advantage of the multiple features that social media offers to gain greater prominence. Keeping customers updated on products, promotions, and trends are the various uses of social media. However, security is a main issue when it comes to the organization aspect on social media. Releasing important information can expose company plans and goals to competitors. Furthermore, the risk of hackers is always an issue.
