Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast of the United States in August 2005. It caused catastrophic damage throughout Florida, Texas, Louisiana and many other states. Katrina is known to be one of the biggest and most devastating natural disasters of the last 20 years. It cost the city of New Orleans billions of dollars in damages and repair costs. The Saints played at the Superdome and the Hornets played at the New Orleans Arena. The destructive hurricane devastated both of these stadiums in major ways and had a big impact on both the surrounding environment and also on the people of New Orleans. As we’ve seen in recent weeks, with big hurricanes like Michael and Florence hitting the U.S., these storms can have major impacts on the states that they hit. Katrina hitting the New Orleans area

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
