Chem 113 - Experiment 10 Sampling Plan Submitted by: James Anundson, Chem 113-002 Date: February 7, 2019 Names Of partners: Emily Binkley Obenewa Ankoma Water to be sampled: Water will be taken from three different locations because we only have three people in our group total. One will be taken from the tap from 1794 Martin Drive in Lebanon Pa. Another one will be taken from melted snow from outside of 119 Levashire Heights, State College Pa. And the final one will be taken from the tap from 613 Wolf Hall. My sample: My sample will be taken from the melted snow outside in front of 119 Levashire Heights, State College Pa. Expected Results: I expect my sample of melted snow to be relatively hard water. I believe this because groundwater tends to be fairly hard because of the calcium, magnesium, and any other minerals it might pick up causes its level of hardness to be much greater than that of something like rainwater. 1 Rainwater
