APOL 525 Discussion Board 3.docx - What is Baha’ism...

This preview shows page 1 - 2 out of 2 pages.

What is Baha’ism? Summarize the main teachings of the Baha’i faith. Based on you reading in our book by Corduan, “So you meet a Muslim” and “So You Meet a Muslim Extremist,” how would your witnessing approach differ when witnessing to a Muslim versus when to witnessing to a Muslim extremist and why? Is it possible to overcome the Islamic stereotype of America? How? Have you ever had an opportunity to witness to a Muslim? What was your experience? What lessons did you learn? What would you do differently if you had the opportunity to witness to a Muslim in the future? Include a word count at the bottom of your thread. Baha’i, the youngest among the truly worldwide religions, originated in the nineteenth century as an offshoot of Islam. 1 Arising as it did out of Islam, Baha’i is a monotheistic faith. Baha’ullah, the founder, taught that there is one God, the eternal Creator, who is essentially unknowable.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
