GOVT 200 When talking about ways the government has overstepped biblical principle bounderies, many things come to mind. Abortions, the death penalty, the party platform of democrats that people of color are inferior and therefor need more help to be equal are just a few things that come to my mind. Taking life, whether it is an unborn baby or a convicted felon is wrong. It is not our place to do this, and in doing so we are telling God that we think we have as much power over life and death as He does. For abortion the bible says “Have nothing to do with false charge and do not put an innocent or honest person to death, for I will not acquit the guilty.” (Exodus 23:7) which tells us that the innocent unborn babies life is one we should not be taking, and for the death penalty the bible tells us “Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.” (Romans
