(Grand Canyon University, 2018). INTRODUCTION According to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, the nursing profession is growing rapidly. Because of this growth in the nursing profession, approximately half million of new nursing jobs will be opened in the year 2022. Some factors that have driven this change are the cost, chronic diseases, the aging demography and increased longevity. The Unites States health care spending is 4.3 times greater than the amount of the national defense. In addition, the projection of the health care expense in the United States will reach 4.6 trillion of united states dollars by the year 2017 (George & Shocksnider, 2014; Hudson et al. 2014). HOW EVOLUTION CHANGE THE SCOPE OF NURSING The nursing profession has undergone many changes that have positively impacted the nursing care services, quality of care and better outcomes. The nursing profession has been around for many years, the very first nurses were not different from today nurse. They cared for
