What will be the period (=1/frequency) of the waveform produced by this circuit? t H = 0.693 * (R 1 + R 2 )*C = 0.693 * (1000 + 1000) * 0.5 * 10 -6 = 0.000693 s = 693 μ s t L = 0.693 * (R 2 )*C = 0.693 * (1000) * 0.5 * 10 -6 = 0.0003465 s = 346.5 μ s The period of the circuit is the sum of t H and t L : Period = 693 + 346.5 = 1039.5 μ s The frequency of the circuit is calculated using the equation below.
