Name: Elliot DeRose Title:“U.S., Canada and Mexico Just Reached a Sweeping new NAFTA deal. Here’s what’s in it” Source: The Washington Post Date: February 10, 2019 Author: Heather Long Link: - sweeping-new-nafta-deal-heres-whats-it/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.f332a9a850be Trump Learns to Play Nice with North America USMCA is now the new name for the North American trade deal, and it stands for the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement. President Trump’s wish was finally fulfilled as he got the leaders from Canada and Mexico to meet to discuss new rules for cars and trucks, along with labor laws and intellectual property rights. These above topics were previously governed by the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), however the NAFTA agreement was written in 1944 and has not been updated. This new deal will not go into effect until 2020 because leaders from Mexico and Canada have to pass it through congress and legislatures in Mexico and Canada before it can be approved.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
