Submission Format: A digital copy of the paper must be submitted to Turnitin on Blackboard. Be sure to follow the instructions as you will not be able to edit your paper once it is uploaded. All the ideas and analysis contained within the paper must be your own. Topic 1: Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire This paper option asks you to analyze the use of primary sources associated with the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire of 1911. The HBO documentary, Triangle: Remembering the Fire , examines the chain of events that led to the factory fire which killed 146 individuals and discusses the legal aftermath following the fire. The Cornell University website, “Remembering the 1911 Triangle Factory Fire” provides useful background information about the fire, but more importantly, contains several primary and secondary sources associated with the fire.
