MODULE 1 SLP Everyone we encounter in our daily life has a different personality type. According to Carl Jung, there are 16 personality types that characterize a person’s general attitude (Discover your personality type, n.d.). Personality types affect the way we behave or react when presented with a certain situation in our work or in our social life. By knowing your specific personality type you can determine your strengths and weaknesses and work on improving them. This paper will discuss my personality type and steps I can take to improve my strengths and build up my weaknesses. Test results The Humanmetrics Jung Typology test revealed that I am introverted, sensing, feeling and judging (ISFJ). My percentages for each one were: introvert 19%, sensing 34%, feeling 9% and judging 25% (Discover your personality type, n.d.). ISFJ’s have a desire to help other people and be needed by others. This test was spot on for me. The test revealed to me that I have excellent analytical skills. I also found out that I am receptive to new ideas and changes in my life (ISFJ personality, n.d.). As an ISFJ I have a desire to help and serve others and I “need to be needed.” (Discover your personality type, n.d.). Strengths and weaknesses Based on this test I can infer that my strengths are being supportive and friendly to others (Discover your personality type, n.d.). My strengths also include being hard-working, patient and reliable (ISFJ personality, n.d.). I tend to be a perfectionist and try to do everything to the best of my abilities. There are tasks that I take my time with to ensure they are completed correctly. Having good practical skills is another one of my strengths that
