Groups will be formed in class (3-5 students) and will submit one assignment to be graded. This will be due by 11:59 p.m. on January 12, 2018 in the Dropbox entitled Assignment 5 on D2L This assignment is worth 2% of your final grade in the class. Step 1: As a group, s elect ONE advertisement from a magazine, a newspaper or television. Be sure to retain a copy of ad (hardcopy of magazine or newspaper ad, or online link to TV ad). Step 2: Evaluate the effectiveness of the ad using the marketing communication process. Be sure to respond to ALL questions (incorporating theory where applicable) to receive full marks. 1. Identify the source of the ad. Answer: “YouTube” 2. What methods were used in encoding the message? How effective were they?
