TUSKEGEE UNIVERSITY DEPARTMENT OF NURSING CLINICAL EVALUATION TOOL NURS 320 A. CLINICAL OBJECTIVES The learning objectives described on the clinical evaluation tool will be evaluated in each clinical practicum. When an objective is not applicable for a clinical course or is not observed, not applicable (N/A) or not observed (N/O) shall be recorded. B. CLINICAL ACTIVITIES Examples of clinical activities that indicate achievement of objectives will differ for each clinical practicum. Students are expected to transfer knowledge of clinical activities from prior clinical practicums. C. GRADING Clinical Evaluation. A satisfactory grade average derived from each clinical rotation will be calculated. Students must not receive two (2) unsatisfactory grades (U) in the Critical Behaviors during the entire clinical assignment {i.e. a student may receive one (1) unsatisfactory Critical Behavior in one clinical rotation and one (1) unsatisfactory Critical Behavior in another clinical rotation, or may receive two (2) unsatisfactory Critical Behaviors in one clinical rotation}. Two (2) unsatisfactory Critical Behaviors will constitute failure of the clinical portion of the course requirement, therefore, failure of the NURS 320. In addition to satisfactorily performing the Critical Behaviors, the student must receive a cumulative average of 0.74 of the Clinical Objectives in all clinical rotations in order to successfully pass the clinical requirements of the course. Examples of clinical activities that indicate achievement of objectives will differ for each clinical experience. Students are expected to transfer knowledge of clinical activities from prior clinical practicums, college laboratory experiences, and classroom theory.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
