The Human Resource (HR) department is the most important department in any business, big or small. Without HR, there may not be a business. HRs are in charge of mainly everything within a business which includes hiring, training, risk management, EEO, etc. Finding the right candidates for the job is a huge part of an HR’s job. A company with high turnovers is because HR are consistently hiring in new people. New employees need to be taught company rules and policies, core values, etc. during the training time. Working within a business, HR are to make it’s a positive work place environment. Everyone is treated equal and with respect. This is where EEO (Equal Employment Opportunity) comes into play.
