McDonald’s Corporate Structure Abstract The paper is an evaluation and analysis of McDonald’s capital structure. The company is a leading fast food conglomerate. The US economy has been heavily impacted by the firm. Capital structure is an illustration on how a business uses debt and equity to build its assets. Capital structure is vital to an organization’s success. McDonald’s is the leader in the fast food industry. The firm has come a long way from its beginning with many successes but also have had multiple struggles that have seen the company lose millions in profit. Capital structure is a mix of debts including short-term and long-term debt. Also, there is a mix of common and preferred equity. Understanding how the organization uses their equity and debts is important for their longevity.
