Methods In my study on parent’s responsibility to cure obesity I would monitor eating habits, behavior patterns of eating, and exercise routines. These have all been found to be variables that can causes obesity in children and adults. This research would help me to see if there is a correlation between parent involvement and obesity. My sample population would come from Craven County daycares. I will use a voluntary sample where people participate because they chose to in the survey. Most people interested in topic will select to participate. I will to monitor preschool aged children between the ages of 3 and 5. I will go to daycares and ask the administrators if I could hand out the surveys. The parents would measure the child’s BMI at home and put it on the survey. The BMI would be measured based on height. My intervention would be to ask a small group to implement eating from the five food groups daily and exercising on a daily basis.
