Hey Nicole, You're absolutely correct that creating or jumping into an untapped space doesn't indicate success. An organization’s success doesn't rely upon how they believe the value is, but rather the response of their consumers. The difference is really up to the perception of the consumer's experience and how "they" generate the product or service. The indications and results that all the referenced journals suggest that a value based strategy should not only consider 1 factor, but multiple to differentiate themselves from their competitors.
