1a. Taking into consideration what constitutes a culture -- Do you believe that disability has a convincing foundation to declare that there is a disability culture? Yes, disability does have a convincing foundation to declare that there is a disability culture. Culture and its definition varies. It can be regarded as the behaviors and beliefs of people and or “the quality in a person or society that arises for what is regarded as excellent in arts, letters, manners, scholarly pursuits, etc” (Dictionary.com, 2017). Examples to provide context can also vary since disabilities can range from impairment, to limited, to hidden and so on and so forth, but one goal is to live a normal life or what society defines “normal.” People with hearing impairments and through the advancement of technology can use hearing aids or with the development of sign language can communicate in an alternative way. People who have sight impairments can use Braille. People who are limited can be assisted with wheel-chairs and canes,
