Page _____ THE 32nd ANNUAL BOIS D'ARC BASH FILLED DOWNTOWN COMMERCE LAST WEEKEND. THE EVENT KICKED OFF FRIDAY MORNING AT SEVEN WITH THE ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT, AND ENDED SATURDAY WITH A CAR AND TRUCK SHOW AND LIVE MUSIC. SATURDAY WAS FULL OF ACTIVITIES. BOOTHS FEATURED A WIDE ASSORTMENT OF ITEMS FOR PURCHASE AND LOTS OF FOOD. THE DAY BEGAN WITH THE BOIS D'ARC ‘DASH’ – A 5K RUN, THAT INCLUDED 68 PARTICIPANTS. MANY OF THE EVENTS OVER THE WEEKEND WERE FOR CHARITY, INCLUDING THE KIWANIS CLUB PANCAKE BREAKFAST HELD SATURDAY. AND, THE WINE TASTING EVENT, FEATURING THE PINOT NOIR FROM MESSINA HOF THIS YEAR, RAISED MONEY FOR AN ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP AT A&M – COMMERCE.
