Creating a Movement I would like to reflect on the feminist movement sweeping the United States today. The feminist movement particularly interests me due to the massive following and support it has. It seems as though feminism has roots in almost every western social movement to date. I follow a lot of current news through several forms of media, there seems to be no shortage of content in the name of feminism. The movement is trying to ask the question why men have more rights than women. The movement has lost momentum because it cannot produce any evidence to support the idea that women are lacking any systemic rights that males have in western societies.
