Economic – Include macroeconomic factors as interest rates, economic growth, exchange rate, the inflation rate Social – the socioeconomic environment of the given industry's market to understand consumer’s needs Technological - How technology can either positively or negatively impact the introduction of a product or service into a marketplace is assessed here. 2. Give four examples of other external factors not featured in the case study. Political: New tax policies – additional expense line in the budget of the company Economic: National currency had declined against the dollar, and that produced an adverse effect on a price of imported products Social: An increase in the number of diseases increases demand for bioproduction.
