Credibility is a form of reputation in which others perceive you (Carbon, 2013). Establishing your credibility means that you are a trustworthy, you care about people and who you work for, you have morals and values, and when make a promise, you try and hold true to your word. Credibility is divided up into three key aspects of life. Competency is the first key. Competency is the knowledge and skills used in accomplishing tasks in businesses and organizations. You will have the ability to approach problems in a professional manner and get the job done. People tend to base one another off their history of success and achievements. For instance, have you ever been in or seen a situation where you did not get the promotion because of your incompetency. Meaning the promotion was given to someone that came in early, stayed late, worked overtime, and others. That is why each person no do his or her best to stay in good standards with the company, because you will never know who is watching.
